Must-Attend Events This Upcoming Weekend

The weekend is here once again and it is probably why you are smiling at yourself right now. As per usual, we have all the details on the best gigs in town to attend this weekend. So without any further ado:

The Launch Pad

Renowned Ohangla musician Makadem will be flaunting his unique sound dubbed the Nyatititronik at Spikizi Wine Bar, along Ngong on 20th August. Nyatititronik is a fusion between Electronic House beats and effects and the Nyatiti music instrument. Gates will open from 2 pm till 6 pm. Advance tickets are available here.

Friday Jazz Sundower

Get your finest cigars and wine ready because Saxophonist Richie Sax will be taking you away with his smooth saxophone skills. The show will be taking place at La Tasca Spanish Corner, along James Gichuru Road on 20th August from 6pm. Call 0740397969 to make your reservation.

The Red Cup Party

Lovers of Kenyan Hip Hop, RnB, House & Old School classics will be getting a special treat at the Winning Post Bar & Restaurant, Ngong Race Course on 21st August. The organizers will also be serving fun times, good food and drinks. Gates open from 10 am. Click here to secure your tickets.

KRT 4X4 Challenge

Kenya Racing Team has some amazing action planned for the 21st – 22nd of August. The event will feature amazing activities such as 4X4 action, food & drinks, camping, rally village, 4X4 training and park & chill party. All these will go down at Oloosirkon Motor Sport Park in Tuala, Kajiado County. Get your tickets here.

Prince Kaybee Live

South African DJ and Musician Prince Kaybee will be live in Kenya on  21st August at Anzana Gardens. The singer who is popularly known for hits such as Uwrongo, Umenitosha, Hosh and Banomoya will also be joined on stage by Big Nyagz, Saint Evo, Polariz and Suraj. Find the tickets here.

Amapiano Sundays

Winning Post Bar & Restaurant will be opening its doors for Amapiano lovers on 22nd August from midday till 9 pm. On the decks will be super DJs Briizy DJ and DJ Ally Fresh. Come and dance to be best mixes over good food and drinks.
