There is always someone complaining about the lack of variety when it comes to music or cultural events in Nairobi – which is why it’s always a delight to have to anticipate a fresh idea.
This is not the first time Motown in Nairobi is taking over The Hub, but if you’ve never experienced it in full glory before, this is your opportunity.
Seasoned performers, an actual ‘point of view’ with regards to the type and genre of music, and a crowd that is as enthusiastic as it is varied.
Motown In Nairobi is a celebration of the Golden Era of music that brought us the greatest of the greats and influenced the music industry as we know it.
Performing on stage this year – which focuses on the 60’s the way to the 90s includes Jacob Asiyo, June Gachui , Patricia Kihoro, David Hunter, Victor Muli, Kendi Nkonge, Edward Parseen, Chris Bittok and the Nairobi Horns Project as the horn section.
The event is put together by The Motown Production Team including June Gachui & Edward Parseen and will be going down on the 19th of October, 2017.
Doors will open at 7.30pm and the show will kick off at 8.30pm.
