M•A•C Cosmetics Marks 27 Years Of Giving Back With Viva Glam

The MAC Viva Glam is one of MAC Cosmetics’ most disruptive campaigns of all time. Since its inception in New York City, 27 years ago, the global brand has raised hundreds of billion dollars through the campaign, which is geared towards giving back 100%.

MAC teamed up with Keith Haring for this year’s #GivingTuesday to come up with three special-edition Lipsticks in his signature primary colour palette.

The artistic parallels between the late Haring and MAC are evident: Haring’s inimitable street pop art sprang into the epicentre of New York’s artistic subculture in the 1980s, right when MAC launched as the definitive rule-breaking artistry brand.

“It’s  our communal belief in equal rights and healthy futures for all that forms the most meaningful message for MAC VIVA  GLAM x Keith Haring.”

Three special-edition Lipsticks in Keith Haring’s signature primary colour palette in Matte and Frost finishes come together for this year’s VIVA GLAM collection. Each work of pop art is expressed through Keith Haring’s symbolic street-style imagery. 100% of the selling price of VIVA GLAM Lipstick sold in EMEA is donated to local organizations fighting for healthy futures and equal rights for all.

When you buy any VIVA GLAM Lipstick, 100% of the selling price goes to support local organizations supporting women and girls, the LGBTQIA+ community and people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Right here in Kenya, you can purchase this range at the M*A*C Stores at the major malls.
