All eyes were on Lupita’s towering hair-do at the annual Met Gala in New York City Monday.
The 33-year-old Oscar-winner matched, what Daily Mail called her “ceiling-scraping” hair-do, with a sea foam green gown, dangling earrings and a thick sparkling bracelet. She joined fellow actresses Margot Robbie and Emma Watson on the carpet.
Lupita is fresh off her Broadway debut in Eclipsed. During Saturday’s show, Lupita and the Eclipsed cast joined U2 front man Bono on stage in remembering missing schoolgirls abducted in Nigeria.
“They were taken from their high school 747 days (ago) today,” Bono told theatregoers then. “If they were American or Irish girls, we’d get a daily report.”
