Black Panther fans and the entire film industry is yet to come to terms with the sudden death of black panther star Chadwick Boseman who passed on weeks ago.
With his burial plans still underway and several reports revealing that it will take place in South Carolina, several actors, actresses as well as his supporters have continued to send in their tribute.
A recent message that has touched so many is an emotional tributed shared by Boseman’s friend and co-actor Lupita Nyongo who admitted that the news has taken a toll on her.
Through her official social media pages, the Kenyan born actress mentioned some of the Chadwick Boseman’s traits that could not go unnoticed even though she has not known him for a long time.
“I didn’t know him for long, but he had a profound effect on me in the time that I did.” she wrote
Lupita described Chadwick as a man full of hope, purpose, positive energy, full of life, generous spirit, and also the fact that his energy had quite a great impact on whomever he met.
According to her, speaking of Boseman in the past tense is such a struggle and his death was indeed unforeseen and quite unexpected judging from the immortal energy he seemingly possessed.
Lupita also shared how being in Chadwick’s presence always fueled her to be a better person and in fact more purposeful and in his honour, she promises to use her time well just as he did with his.
“When I was around Chadwick, I wanted to be better, less petty, more purposeful…” she wrote
The award-winning actress also sent her condolences to his family and his friends as they continue mourning the legend.
