On Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, Lupita Nyong’o hosted a special screening of the upcoming Horror film; Candyman, which is written and produced by Jordan Peele.
The screening of the Movie was hosted at CMX CineBistro Peachtree Corners in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lupita and Jordan worked together on the Horror Film US in 2019.
The Box office film featured other Hollywood heavyweights including; Elisabeth Singleton Moss of Handmaids’ Tale and Duke Winston of Black Panther, grossing over 255 Million USD worldwide.
Lupita is currently working on a new Apple TV+ series with his fellow Oscar winner Jordan Peele.
Candyman Release Date
A day ago Lupita took to Instagram donning an oversized Candyman T-shirt, sitting next to a mirror captioning the release date; Aug. 27, 2021.

Candyman is a Mythical tale depicted as an African-American man who was brutally murdered for a forbidden 19th-century interracial love affair.
He returns as an urban legend and kills anyone who summons him by saying his name five times infront of a mirror.
