Citizen Tv news anchor Lulu Hassan has officially announced the return of the Aziza drama series after a year-long break.
The Jiffy pictures executive producer shared this news on her Instagram page stating that the show will air on Maisha Magic East and not on Citizen Tv where the first season was aired.
”You asked for it !!!!!! April 5th it is!!!!! Only On @maishamagiceast …#thereturnofAZIZA…” said Lulu Hassan on Instagram.
The show’s last episode of season one was aired in January 2019 and was replaced by Maria Series which is also a jiffy pictures production.
Although it remains unclear whether new actors or actresses will be brought on board, are several changes expected in the show considering one of the actresses Pretty Mutave who played Aziza’s manager passed on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
In reaction to this news, fans have expressed their excitement as they gave positive reviews in regard to the show.
Apart from Aziza series, some of the local shows produced by jiffy pictures & have a huge following include Kovu, Huba, Moyo, Maza, Maria, and the newly launched Zora which airs on Citizen TV.
