Last Chance: Just A Band in New York City

Nairobi-based house, funk, disco and hip-hop act Just A Band will be playing an exclusive live set at Meridian 23 in Manhattan on April 3. Doors are at 9 p.m. and both Xpect and Brooklyn’s own Stringsnskins will be performing beforehand, so be there promptly and come prepared to get down.

Just A Band are fresh back from the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, having stopped by Yale University on the way to perform alongside Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Angelique Kidjo at Africa Salon – the university’s first-ever contemporary African arts and culture festival.

The performance at Meridian 23 on Friday will be Just a Band’s last in the U.S. for this tour, so if you have the chance to come by and love to dance, make sure that you mark up your calendar. We sure will.
