Leading PR & Rating firm Avance Media has announced its annual publication, 100 Most Influential Young Africans.
The publication recognizes individuals making a positive impact in their communities and industries across the continent, covering young people in media, business, leadership, climate change, and entertainment.
The 7th edition of the publication features young Africans from 25 countries.
Kenya features 11 youths on the list, the second highest register from a country.
Nigeria with 31 is the country’s highest number of representatives with some of the most notable names such as Davido and Burna Boy featuring.
Prince Akpah, the Founder and Managing Director of Avance Media, said the list is a testament to the remarkable resilience and potential of Africa’s young people.

Kenyans Featured on Avance Media’s 2022 100 Most Influential Young Africans.
Among the 11 Kenyans Featured on the list of Avance Media’s 2022 100 Most Influential Young Africans are Angella Okutoyi, the first representative of Kenya to win a girls’ junior singles Grand Slam match.
Ferdinand Omanyala who’s had a great start to his 2023 season, setting a National record in 60M is also featured on the list.
Environment and climate activists Elizabeth Wanjiru Wathuti and Anita Soina are also featured on 100 Most Influential Young Africans.
Governor Johnson Sakaja and CNN journalist Larry Madowo also feature on the list.
Other Kenyans Featured on the 7th edition of Avance publication are Nelly Cheboi, Caren Wakoli as well as Amandla Ooko-Ombaka.
