Tributes have been pouring for the sports commentator who impacted several listeners, and colleagues in his field.

CNN journalist Larry Madowo the world of sport and journalism has been left poorer without him.

“Sean was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I’ve ever worked with. He loved sports and he loved journalism, and both are poorer today without him. Rest well” wrote Madowo.
