Singer Kristoff is now ready to make a comeback into the music scene after a 2-year hiatus.
In an interview with Kiss FM, the singer, who has been in and out of the country since then, said that he had to take a break from music after realizing it’s a different generation.
Kristoff’s break from the music industry was also motivated by a need to adjust to the changing industry landscape and to ‘collect energy from different places’.
“I saw the game was changing and also I’m from a different generation. The social media generation was now taking over and I realised things have to be done differently. Plus I needed space to go and collect energy from different places so that you come back with good vibes,” Kristoff said.

Kristoff has been spending a lot of time in the US where his brother lives.
In another interview, this time with Hip Hop legend Mwafrika, Kristoff said that he had been doing a lot of ghostwriting for Kenyan artists, something that he also intends to go back to doing.
Kristoff said that he has ghostwritten for Khaligraph, King Kaka, Femi One among others.
