King Kanja And Bobby V Drop EP Dubbed ‘Foreign Exchange’

Kenyan artist based in the US King Kanja has released a brand new EP called “Foreign Exchange” featuring American singer Bobby V.

King Kanja and the Atlanta-based superstar dropped the six-track EP early this week following months behind the scene cooking up the project.

“I have a series of producers who send me beats and whenever we are together backstage before shows, we put them on play and freestyle,” said Kanja.

“Once in a while one of them hits off and we proceed with the studio recording. Also during studio sessions, some tracks are accomplished on the spot.”

The two artists have already shot the video for Like This, which features Santos Silva.

The track which is a steamy love song was produced by DC/Maryland/Virginia producer Krankington. Like this, is a fresh fusion of Afro-pop and RnB.

New management

The EP includes tracks such as “Mambo ni leo”, “Like This”, “Come Over”, “Caribbean Girl”, “Lituation” and “Oceans of You”.

It marks King Kanja’s new tenure under a new management company “The Santiago Firm”

Bobby V, a legendary RnB singer popular in the mid-2000s is behind such hits as “Slow Down”, “Tell Me” “hands on Me” among others,

According to King Kanja, Foreging Exchange takes listeners on a musical journey beyond borders owing to their diverse backgrounds and musical influences.
