King Kaka’s ‘Dundaing’ Only Kenyan Song On Apple Music’s 2018 A-list Of African Music

13 December of 2018 by

Rapper King Kaka is the only Kenyan artist on Apple Music’s 2018 A-list of African music.

King Kaka made it to the Nigerian-dominated debut list with “Dundaing” released in November. Nigerians had 19 songs featured, Ghana came in second with 13 and South African was third having produced seven songs in the list.

King Kaka’s song, which features Magix Enga and Kristoff, has enjoyed immense airplay on local radio stations and clubs since its release.

Last week, the hit once again made waves after a Kenyan deejay based in the US, Ivy the DJ, played it during an NBA game between Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas Mavericks.

Apple’s A-list focuses on songs that have done well in Africa but is updated weekly.
