Kina: Sanaipei Tande Took A Break From Show To Rest

Singer and actress Sanaipei Tande stepped away from Kina because of fatigue, the singer has revealed.

Following news that she’ll no longer be on the program where she has played the role of Nana Tandala for the last four seasons, which is a total of 700 episodes, social media has been a buzz on why she’s stepping away.

Taking to social media, Tande explained saying she needs some rest.

“There has been a lot of speculation as to why this is, with an array of reasons being thrown around. For clarification and accuracy, I chose to leave due to exhaustion and consequently much-needed rest,” she wrote.

Fellow actress Mbeki Mwalimu is set to take over the role for the foreseeable future.

Tande also explained why Maisha Magic didn’t kill the character and opted to replace her.

“Because of the nature of the show, it was necessary to find a replacement to allow for your continued entertainment. I thank each and every one of you who has shown great love, support, and concern through numerous messages, comments, and compliments,” she added explaining why her character was not written out.

“Kina” airs on Maisha Magic Plus from Monday to Friday at 8PM with episodes streaming on Showmax.
