Rapper Khaligraph Jones is flying high once again. The Tuma Kitu hitmaker has been nominated for the prestigious BET Hip Hop Award 2020, under the Best International Rap Flow Category, which seeks to recognize exemplary rappers from around the world. The contest is super tight as Khaligraph has been nominated alongside rappers such as South Africa’s Nasty C, Brazil’s Djonga, France’s Kaaris and Meryl and UK’s Ms Banks and Stormzy.
The excited rapper took to his social media to share the great news with his fans stating that this was his first-ever BET nomination.
BET Hip Hop Awards 2020 is scheduled to take place on 28th October 2020 via BET Africa channel. The nominations list has been graced by rappers such as Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Roddy Rich, Beyonce, Lil Baby and Mullato among others.
Khaligraph Jones becomes the first Kenyan to get nominated in this category and the third Kenyan musician to make it to the final BET Awards nominations list after Camp Mulla and Sauti Sol. His star quality has continued to shine through the adversities of the industry and currently, he is one of the most sought-after rappers in Kenya.
