The 2019 Met Gala was on this past Monday, May 6th, and our timelines are flooded with pictures of our favourite celebs dressed in dazzling costumes.
We’ve sampled some of what Kenyans are saying on social media about who wore what to the fundraising gala. The theme this year was ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion. “Camp is an aesthetic in which something has appeal because of its bad taste or ironic value.” It was inspired by American writer, filmmaker, philosopher, teacher, and political activist, Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay titled, the same.

Makeup artist @UkwiBeauty also weighed in on some looks and of course makeup picking JLo as one of her stunning eye makeup looks.
Lastly, photographer @LyraAoko could not help get inspired sharing the looks she would love to shoot.
