On Tuesday, 30th January 2024, Kenyans from different sectors including the hospitality industry, media space, and Wine lovers turned up in masses to experience Italy uniquely, through the Gambero Rosso; Top Italian Wines Road Show.
The prestigious invite-only event organized by the Italian Embassy, with the support of the Italian Trade Commission, presented approximately 150 premium awarded wines to sample.
Kenyans sample 150 Premium Awarded Wines, From 35 Top Wineries, Representing 15 Italian Wine Regions.
Going down at Shamba Events, Loresho Ridge the vibe was upbeat with music to accompany the White, Red, Rose and Sparkling Wines from 35 Top Italian Wineries.
This allowed attendees to get a flavour of different terroirs, and different Wine denominations in a convivial atmosphere.
Attendees also had an opportunity to meet actual Winemakers.

The two expertly took attendees on a journey in Italy through just Wine, and its senses.
To wrap up what was a perfect afternoon, Gambero Rosso held an award ceremony to celebrate the best Italian cuisine in Kenya.
Restaurants, Pizzerias, and Wine shops celebrating the Italian way of life were awarded.
The Winners will be included in Gambero Rosso’s Global Top Italian Restaurant Guides.
