Kenyan Film ‘Poacher’ To Be Aired On Netflix

With Netflix being a production company; a platform with massive viewership that attracts more than 183 million global subscribers, it has become every film maker’s/ actors dream to have their content aired on it.

The Kenyan film industry is marking another milestone following the confirmation that an award-winning film ‘poacher’ is set to be aired on Netflix.

The news was shared by the Director of the film Tom Whitworth who mentioned that Poacher will be exclusively available on Netflix from 30th September.

“It’s been a 4-year journey and we are enormously proud to announce the launch of ‘Poacher’, our short award-winning Kenyan crime thriller, exclusively available on Netflix from 30th September.” he wrote in his post.

According to the description attached to the film cover on Netflix’s coming soon segment, Poacher is a crime thriller film.

The film captures an exciting plot of how a farmer is on the run after stealing ivory from International terrorists.

The cast in this anticipated film includes Maina Olwenya, Briana Ogola, Davina Leonard, and Shiviske Shivisi who all took to social media to express their excitement.
