Travel review site TripAdvisor has made some much-needed changes to its platform. We learnt of this news from Capital FM’s travel and lifestyle editor Susan Wong who posted on her Twitter profile that she was one of the personalities chosen to launch the new features.
Great news!! @TripAdvisor launched their all-new platform today, and I'm part of it!!! Go check out all the new features including following travelers you trust, such as myself! 😂😍😜 https://t.co/d9EKv8HwYe pic.twitter.com/JPnRS0K2GJ

Wong was also part of the journalists on board KQ’s maiden flight to New York.
A recently published research titled Holiday Habits 2018 revealed that lesser prospective travellers rely on sites such as TripAdvisor for information or inspiration. Perhaps this move to add travellers’ profiles is a move to increase this number and might we add that the holidays are a perfect time to announce it.
Starting today users can follow other travellers for tips and recommendations! This means as an avid traveler you can also set up a profile for yourself. We all follow a number of travel bloggers on our social media but having them on one platform will be more convenient for sure.
There’s even a new feature called “Trips” that allows groups to plan and save for future adventures together.
Who are some of the travel bloggers you can’t wait to follow?
