Kenyan Artists Represent At AFRIMMA 2016!

It was a top night for Kenyan acts at this year’s AFRIMMA awards ceremony

Sauti Sol, alongside Victoria Kimani, Akothee and Willy Paul had been nominated for a variety of gongs in the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) –  the 3rd edition of one of the biggest platforms for African music in the Diaspora.

And we did pretty darn well!

The party went down in Dallas, Texas – and you know how Africans get down! Glitz and glamour was on show at the high profile event in one of the most popular touring destinations for African acts in the States.

The biggest, baddest names on the African music scene were battling it out in a number of super competitive categories that covered all the bases – from East to West,  North to South including Wiz Kid,  Davido and AKA. The Caribbean also received a shout!

Big up to Willy Paul who took the gong for Best Gospel and Akothee who nabbed the Best Female East Africa prize!
