Kenyan Actor Paul Ogola Selected As A Juror in Emmy Awards 

A Kenyan will be among the jurors in the 50th International Emmy Awards.

Paul Ogola has been named among the judges for the prestigious awards, a great accomplishment for him and the Kenyan film industry in general.

“I am just letting you know that I am a Juror in the 50th International Emmy Awards. Roger! #goddid,” Mr Ogola said.

To become a juror, one undergoes a rigorous process where they are first vetted by Emmy’s judging department. A juror should have at least five years of professional TV experience in producing, directing, and acting in acquisitions among other categories.

The jurors are selected from a pool of 1,000 independent jurors across the world making it one of the most punctilious selections process in the awards business.

Ogola, 32, has a stacked portfolio and has been in movies such as Nairobi Half Life (2012), Netflix’s Sense 8 (2015-2018) and Sacred Games.

Emmy’s is set to take place on Monday, November 2022.
