Kenyan Actor Nyce Wanjeri Scores An AMVCA Nomination

Rising actor Nyce Wanjeri of the infamous Kenyan Comedy-Drama Tv series Auntie Boss has just scored a nomination at the 2018 chapter of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Nyce plays a role as a house help on the NTV show that delves into the lives of domestic workers in a fictional Taifa Estate, their everyday drama revolves around the families they work for and activities within the neighbourhood.

From that Role, Nyce has been nominated under The Best Actress in a Comedy Movie/Tv Series. She battles for the top prize against Rita Dominic, Adesua Etomi, Queen Nwokoye, Dakore Akande and Bimbo Ademoye and be informed this category the winner is determined by fan votes.

Auntie Boss is not her first show as she has been an extra in “Mama Duka” and KBC’s “Merimela’s House”, which she did with her daughter when she was just four months old.

K.E.R.U a Tv show that airs on K24 on Tuesday has also scored a nomination under the Best Indigenous Language Movie/TV Series- Swahili category.

The 6th edition of the AMVCA’s will go down on 1st September in Lagos Nigeria. The Awards ceremony will be broadcast on all Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv.
