The Kenya Fashion Awards 2018 Gala & Showcase finally went down this past Saturday at the Norfolk Hotel. The event that was full of glam, color and life saw many different kinds of style and ensemble from different household names grace the Red Carpet event.
The event that targets to honor different categories of fashion did an amazing job: the setup was on point, the showcase from the different participants, titbits and photography session were all top notch. The runway was graced by different designs that caused merry to many fashion lovers and designers. The emcee Angie (Former Miss Kenya USA) did fantastic in engaging the crowd.
Awards were up for grabs from different categories that were voted by the public. However, the student designer award was vetted by renowned fashion gurus, who selected the winner from the NextGen fashion show held earlier in September.
A special award was equally presented to one Ann Mccreath for her special contributions to the fashion industry.

Female Model of the year 2018 – Shanelle Nyasiase
Male Model of the year 2018 – Priyan Solanki
Accessory Designer of the year 2018 – Embody Accessories
Newspaper with the best fashion segment 2018 (people’s choice) – The Asian Weekly
Special Recognition award 2018 – Ann Mccreath
