Kenya 7s To Kick-off Hong Kong 7s Against Canada

Seventh round of the World Sevens series is around the corner as teams gear up for a three-day weekend of Sevens action.

Hong Kong 7s will go down from Friday Apr 7, 2017 in Hong Kong as the series heads to climax in Europe one month later.

Fixtures for the Hong Kong 7s have been released and Kenya Sevens are set to kick-off the Asian tour against Canada on Friday at 3.18pm.

Kenya Sevens will kick-off the seventh leg against Canada 7s on Friday April 7 at 3.18pm Kenyan time.

The Innocent Simiyu boys will then get to action on day two of the tournament, Saturday April 8 at 8.56am against series leaders South Africa before concluding the pool matches 12.34pm against France 7s.

Kenya 7s is currently 12th with 40 points after six rounds with only three rounds to go after Hong Kong.  In 2016, Kenya lost 5-0 to New Zealand and 17-10 to France before dismissing Samoa 24-0 in pool matches.

Kenya then went ahead to lose 12-10 to Fiji in quarters and 33-0 to England in Plate semis.

Australia will open the leg against Samoa at 1pm on Friday before England 7s take on invitational side South Korea at 1.22pm, Argentina play Scotland at 1.44pm, USA take on Russia at 2.08pm, New Zealand play Wales at 2.32pm, Fiji battle Japan at 2.54pm and South Africa play France at 3.40pm.
