Keep Your Hair Healthy And Moisturized Using The LOC Method

The secret to healthy and maintainable hair is a good moisturizing regime. The LOC  method is a three step technique that ensures maximum hair moisture retention using three products; liquid ( water or a water-based leave-in conditioner), oil and cream.

Step 1; Liquid

Start with freshly washed hair or you could sprinkle water or use a water-based leave-in conditioner. The water molecules hydrate your hair follicles.

Step 2; Oil

The purpose of oil is to seal moisture introduced by applying water. Use natural oils that penetrate through hair shafts like; coconut oil, jojoba oil, castor oil and avocado oil.

Step 3; Cream

Hair cream closes your hair cuticles locking in moisture. Leaving your hair hydrated, nourished, and bouncy.

NOTE: This works for all hair types. LOC works best on high porosity hair as it absorbs and lose moisture easily. If your hair is low porosity, do switch to LCO – liquid, cream then oil. In the case of medium porosity, LO – liquid then oil because the hair absorbs and retains moisture easily. Use this method every wash day, so every few days or a week or two.

After this three step technique, style your hair using a protective hairstyle as over styling may tamper with retaining moisture.
