Kayvo Kforce & Mr. KE4 Join Forces for Collaborative EP “Sauti Ya Ground”

In a momentous fusion of talent and artistry, Kenyan Hip Hop icon Kayvo Kforce and rising star Mr. KE4 have teamed up to release their collaborative album, “Sauti Ya Ground.” This 10-track masterpiece, meticulously crafted over three years, showcases their unique blend of musical prowess and lyrical finesse. Furthermore, it has an impressive lineup of Kenyan collaborators including GJB100, Shamir, Omnivore, and Gendi. The album hosts songs such as Usiniharibie, Ng’ang’ana, Wale Wabaya, and Relax.

For Mr. KE4, a versatile Hip Hop artist straddling between Kenya and the United States while pursuing his studies, this album marks a significant milestone in his burgeoning career. Teaming up with the legendary Kayvo Kforce, known for his influential contributions to the Kenyan music scene, Mr. KE4 brings a fresh perspective and dynamic energy to “Sauti Ya Ground.”

The album was written and composed by Kayvo Kforce and Mr. KE4. Its production was done by Yang P from Rwanda and Mad BNS, also of Rwandese descent. The mixing and mastering were expertly executed by So Fresh in Kenya. Lastly, recording contributions came from Hitbox Music Africa, Nambanane Music, and Chambers Music.

Reflecting on the album’s creation, Kayvo Kforce shares, “Sauti Ya Ground is our first-ever joint album and hopefully the start of a solid collaborative endeavor for me as I take on the next era on my album releases.” This sentiment echoes his commitment to reinventing his artistry, as evidenced by his recent rebranding and adoption of an Afrocentric approach to Hip Hop music.
