Singer Kaa la Moto has released a new album dubbed ‘Kesi’.
“It’s all Swahili and has 13 tracks with two bonus tracks. It has collabos with Kama of Kalamasha and some pioneers from Tanzania,” he said.
“It wasn’t easy but it was completed in one week. The inspiration was my daily life and also it came from the father to my friend Kuto, who taught us a lot while we were young.”
Kaa la Moto hasn’t been much in the music circles. He took a short break from music hence the silence but now is back trying to revive the old kind of hip hop.
“I don’t think people are ready for it. I like the way music was done long time ago, the content, the lyrics and the creativity was so nice.” headed.
The album features a number of acts such as; Kamah of Kalamashaka, Iddi Singer, Salu T, Chapatizzo, Kigoto, Vivonce, Songa and legendary Kenyan producer/rapper based in Tanzania Chizzen Brain.
Kesi was produced by Nje Pro, Sango & Teknixx, Kaa La Moto himself and mastered by Chizzen Brain.
