Renown boy band ‘Just A Band’ have announced their official reunion after a 6-year hiatus.

The four-man music group consisting of Bill “Blinky” Sellanga, Dan Muli, Mbithi Masya and Jim Chuchu took to their official social media pages to announce the news on Monday afternoon.

Explaining their long hiatus, they wrote, “We each went out into the world and had a bunch of adventures, and we needed time to catch up on one another as humans and friends.”

The band was formed while they were students at Kenyatta University and gained fame in 2010 after releasing Ha He.

In April 2016, the band announced a 2-year break to pursue solo projects.

“We feel that Just A Band will be stronger as a unit for us taking the time to explore these paths and become stronger as individuals. We feel that Just A Band will be stronger as a unit for us taking the time to explore these paths and become stronger as individuals,” the statement read in part.
