Jamaican Dancehall superstar Charly Black will be live in Kenya for the second edition of the Nye Glow Fest. In a video post via Instagram, the Gyal You A Party Animal hitmaker confirmed this show would be his very first live performance in Kenya.
Dubbed the Dance Hall Edition, the concert will be taking place at the Ngong Race Course on New Year’s Eve. According to the organizers, this edition will be one of the most memorable events yet. Organizers are further promising to serve an amazing artists and DJ lineup.
Charly Black whose official names are Desmond Mendez, is one of Jamaica’s finest music exports. He rose to stardom in 2014 after releasing his popular hit Gyal You A Party Animal. The track went on to gain more popularity after 2 remixes which featured Puerto Rican stars Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi.
Gyal You A Party Animal is currently one of the most-watched Dancehall music videos with over 220 Million views. Apart from Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi, Charly has worked with other stars such as Chris Martin, Sean Paul, and J Capri just to mention a few. His catalog features other hits such as Tan Tuddy, Sidung, Bike Back, You’re Perfect and My Girl Now among others.
