Kenya’s hugely popular political satire Tv series, The XYZ Show is back on television with its 7th season, which premiered on January 20th on NTV. The show will then run every Sunday until April 14th.
New episodes will also be available every Sunday online and on mobile through Buni TV at www.buni.tv/xyzshow.
Launched in 2009, The XYZ Show now reaches more than 8 million people every month on television, radio, the internet and in buses.
According to XYZ’s producers Gado and Marie Lora-Mungai, the show’s 7th season was specifically scheduled to coincide with Kenya’s general elections, and viewers should expect to see new characters such as Peter Kenneth, Rachael Shebesh, Ole Kiyapi, Raphael Tuju and Ferdinand Waititu.
“XYZ has also managed to convince all the presidential candidates to participate in a special and unprecedented XYZ presidential debate”, they say. “So watch out! It should be explosive…”
