Breakfast, brunch and a night out at one of the city’s vibrant party locations: when we were promised a grand day of celebration; we were not ready!!
The #MoetGrandDay celebrations in Nairobi started off on Friday with a breakfast launch at the Norfolk Hotel, attended by the French ambassador, representatives from the champagne house and even an official from the Kenyan government alongside lifestyle and business journalists.
On Saturday afternoon, Tribe Hotel played host to glamorous personalities from business women and men, celebrities and some top names in the fashion and corporate world.
Kenyan celebrities such as Janet Mbugua, Pinky Ghelani, Kate the Actress and Neomi Ngang’a were all decked out in either white and/or gold – so were bloggers and influencers. The intimate and exquisite event was emceed by Anto Neosoul, DJ Protege on the decks and Rabai from Nairobi Horns.
Wondering why such a lavish party was happening smack in the middle of Kenyan winter? The momentous occasion was the 150th anniversary of Moët Impérial, a global icon of celebration since 1869. Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa were the three African countries to join other countries world wide in a series of glitzy events.
Here are some more images from the event just in case you haven’t had your fill so far.
The party was far from over and the venue changed to Kiza in Kilimani where the terrace was reserved for some more bottle popping, music and dancing!
That will definitely be a weekend to remember!
