Many things come to mind when anyone mentions Kitengela: the distance from Nairobi, Railways matatus and Kitengela Glass are some. It’s been years since the Kajiado town cropped up, Kenyans have bought land there and made the town home.
Artcaffé Group just a few months after opening another impressive outlet at Capital Centre on Mombasa Road have set up shop at Kitengela Mall this month.
Betty Musyoki, Head of Real Estate at Artcaffé Group commented “The opening of Artcaffé Coffee & Bakery in Kitengela is an exciting step for us as we look to bring the Artcaffé experience to more Kenyans. Our emphasis is to be in strategic locations that are a hub of economic and social activity. As one of the faster expanding towns, Kitengela represents a growing economy and flourishing middle class; we look forward to being a part of this community as well as positively impacting local growth”.
The are several new locations in the pipeline scheduled for opening in 2019 including one in the CBD which will definitely be a popular spot. Artcaffé has come along way since opening in 2008 and despite being on the receiving end of some backlash involving croissants in 2013; there’s been nothing but love and good food, coffee and drinks from them of late. It’s a convenient spot and we hear their latest branch is already the place to be in “Kite”.
