Hussein Mohammed Confirmed As Ruto’s Head Of Communications 2 Years After Leaving The Newsroom

Former Citizen TV prime time news anchor Hussein Mohammed has made a comeback to the limelight after being appointed as Deputy President William Ruto’s Head of Communications for his party UDA.

The union was announced by the Deputy President on his social media pages, accompanied by pictures of the two shaking hands at his official Karen residence.

This role was memorably held by Dennis Itumbi in the past.

The news of Mohammed’s appointment has been received well by Kenyans and politicians affiliated to UDA party and across the political divide.

Prior to this announcement, Hussein, who had worked for Citizen TV for ten years before exiting the media house, had been missing in action for over two years.

I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics & everything in between. See you soon.” he said after leaving Citizen.
