Hussein Mohamed Replaces Kanze Dena As State House Spokesperson

Former Citizen TV anchor Hussein Mohamed is celebrating a big win in his career as he was appointed State House Spokesperson, replacing Kanze Dena.

The appointments were announced on Friday, October 14 by outgoing Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.

Mohamed made a comeback to the limelight when he served as the director of communications in Ruto’s presidential campaign.

Congratulatory messages have streamed in from all over.

Nandy County Senator Cherargei was among the first to congratulate him.

“Congratulations brother Hussein Mohammed for your appointment to be statehouse spokesperson. Many naysayers dissed you when you joined H.E Ruto Presidential campaign secretariat but you gave your best. Keep winning,” he wrote.

Politician Alinur Mohamed also wrote, “Congratulations to veteran journalist Hussein Mohammed, the only Journalist who has ever successfully bullied President William Ruto with tough questions, on his appointment as State House spokesperson. It’s high time Kanze Dena made a comeback to Nipashe Wikendi on Citizen TV.”

Hussein’s appointment was announced alongside a few other appointments including David Ndii who will chair the President’s Council of Economic Advisors.
