Huddah Monroe is known for living life on the fast and luxurious lane. Lately, the socialite turned reality star and entrepreneur has been focusing on her coins and securing the bag. In the latest buzz-worthy and boss moves news, Huddah shared a stunning image on her Instagram dressed in a purple blinged up Michael Kors ensemble posing next to a bicycle complete with a floral arrangement; somewhere in Los Angeles where she has recently been seen spending a chunk of her time.
The article written by Crazy Rich Asians author Kevin Kwan interviews what he labels L.A’s stylish global transplants. “Although her home base is Nairobi, she seems to exist in perpetual motion. Whether Abu Dhabi or Monaco or Atlanta or Shanghai, she’s never in the same place for long. But these days, L.A. (where next year she plans to open a Huddah Cosmetics U.S. flagship stocking her popular liquid lipsticks and eye shadow palettes for darker skin tones) is like a second home to her,” it partly reads. Full Interview.
Huddah is true to herself and her beginnings in the interview – something she’s never shied away from. On her IG post, she humbly shares how much appearing on Harper’s Bazaar means to her. “I never one day imagined I’d be in one of the Worlds biggest fashion magazine.”
Although there were some mixed reactions to this news, most people congratulated Ms Monroe in awe as they commented on her rebranding journey. She may have alluded to the fact that she was on the cover which many also chose to focus on but the fact remains she’s in the magazine’s September Issue and she looks amazing. In the interview, we also see a more sophisticated and grown up Huddah repping Kenya all the way!
