The Real Housewives of Nairobi hosted an exclusive screening and launch event at the Windsor Golf hotel and country club last Tuesday. Hosted by media personality Amina Rabar, the private event had attendance from all 5 cast members – Susan Kaittany, Lisa Christoffersen, Vera Sidika, Sonal Maherali, and Minne Kariuki, crew, media, and Showmax executives.
Being a lifestyle reality show, this event lived up to the hype. High fashion and glamor were the order of the day as each of the housewives arrived in pomp and style.
Speaking at the event, the reality show producer Eugene Mbugua from D&R Productions thanked the entire D&R and Showmax team from bring this show to life. He also urged the attendees to spread the word about the show.
The Real Housewives of Nairobi premiers today exclusively on Showmax and will air subsequent episodes every other Thursday till the end of season 1. It joins a library of other successful African adaptations such as Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, and most recently Lagos. Check out the trailer below
