How The Mammito & Friends December Edition Went Down

Top Kenyan stand-up comedian, Mammito Eunice, recently graced the stage with her unparalleled wit and humor, hosting her two-day comedy extravaganza “Mammito & Friends.” The event unfolded at the prestigious Nairobi National Museum’s auditorium. Mammito also took the opportunity to flaunt her impeccable sense of fashion donning locally styled outfits.


The December edition of Mammito & Friends showcased a stellar lineup, featuring a mix of international flair and homegrown brilliance. The stage was graced by South Sudan’s comedic sensation, Akau Jambo, and South Africa’s witty Vafa Naraghi.

Representing Kenyan comedic gems, Ty Ngachira and Doug Mutai also performed. The collective comedic brilliance of these performers made for an unforgettable experience, leaving the audience in stitches.

“Mammito & Friends” Superstar Audience

One of the highlights of Mammito & Friends was the presence of distinguished guests, including the renowned Afrobeats superstar, Reekado Banks. Additionally, comedy giants Uganda’s Salvador and Nigeria’s Klint da Drunk added a touch of international star power to the event. The diverse audience, which included both Mammito’s dedicated fans and well-known celebrities, further contributed to the vibrant atmosphere at the Nairobi National Museum’s auditorium.

This successful event marked the third installment in Mammito’s series of self-produced comedy shows. The journey began with the maiden edition of Mammito & Friends in December 2022, followed by the launch of the new franchise, Mammito & Girlfriends, in August 2023. Each of these shows has consistently raised the bar for the Kenyan comedy and entertainment scene.

Mammito’s dedication to excellence is evident in her announcement of plans for 2024. Looking forward to the future, Mammito promises an even more significant and spectacular spectacle, declaring, “Watch out for 2024 because I am taking comedy alongside my friends around Kenya and for an international tour.”

Apart from her live performances, Mammito has also been making waves in the entertainment industry beyond borders. This year, she collaborated with Netflix for two campaigns in South Africa: Queen Charlotte, and The Korean Drama Festival. These endeavors have undoubtedly positioned Mammito for more significant collaborations and an even more remarkable comedic journey.
