How It All Went Down At The Muze Open Air!

The very first edition of the Muze Open Air went down this past Saturday at the Ngong Race Course. By noon, excited groups of attendees were trickling in, but the full action began at 2:30 pm.

First on stage was DJ Jo Kisila who rocked the crowd from around 3 pm till 4 pm. He played a dance floor reporting mix with various genres ranging from Hip Hop to Gengetone and elements of House music. DJ Vidza followed him and she wowed the fans with her mastery of House music mix.

DJ Hiribae was up next and went on to serve more House music with a touch of Amapiano to the delight of revelers. The event’s unique set up served the attendees with amazing food and drinks. Cocktail lovers also got a special treat from the Muze bar’s delicious range of cocktails. Corporate sponsors such as Redbull were also present.

Later Blinky Bill got up on stage at around 5:30 and the crowd was ecstatic. The multitalented musician performed some of his songs live and also flaunted his deck skills.

Finally the star of the night Julz Baby went on stage circa 6:45 pm till the 8:30 pm close. The London based Ghanaian producer who was performing for his first time in Kenya, confessed his love for Kenya, calling it his second home. He performed his amazing set which consisted of various genres such as House, Afrobeat, Gengetone and Amapiano just to mention a few.

The organizers did live up to the hype of celebrating music, culture and fashion while still offering a refreshing concert experience. We can’t wait to attend the next Muze Open Air edition.
