Madam Boss aka Akothee held her foundation’s first-anniversary party at Kempinski over the weekend in a star-studded event that saw all the industry change-makers attend in their Sunday best.
The foundation dubbed Akothee Foundation has been involved in charity events throughout its existence over the past year. It has been involved in charity events such as donating sanitary towels to vulnerable teens, giving foodstuffs to the poor and paying school fees to needy students.
Speaking about the foundation, Akothee said the foundation was formed mainly to change the lives of vulnerable members of society.
The invite-only white party was attended by big names in the Kenyan entertainment industry with the guest of honour being Mama Ida Odinga.
The others who graced the event include Churchill Ndambuki, Kabi Wajesus, Nameless, Wahu, Pastor Israel Burale and Chris Kirwa, among many others.
Akothee came out earlier today to condemn the Kempinski staff for poor service they provided to her guests and swore not to hold any of her events there again.
“The management of Kempinski is a total mess, with ugly ATTITUDE. All my life I have held events in Kempinski (and) I have never met such arrogant unprofessional bitter managers. “I regret having engaged Kempinski in holding the First Anniversary of my foundation. I will never ever step foot in that dirty dusty building. Will address this on Wednesday,” she wrote.
