Hip Hop Artist Oksyde On A Roll With Popular Kenyan Jams

The number one chief rocker, Oksyde, has been on the 254 scene for a hot minute and I think he never gets the credit nor accolades he deserves. He emerged a winner of the infamous Florida Freestyle Battles in 2008/2009 season and since then, he has been putting out raw street rhymes. He is also a Jump Off Freshman as he is a true representation of KE underground hip-hop.

Besides churning outs tunes like Madiaba, Beautiful, No King and collaborating with the like of Khaligraph, his freestyles get the street talking more than the actual records. This seems to be working for him and it’s only right he furthers the art of making hit spoofs or G-Mixes.

Here are some G-Mixes trending the street charts.

Bazokizo G Mix

Picking up the popular Bazokizo beat by Collo and Bruz Newton, Oksyde injects that raw street flow, straight rap no chorus and he comes through correct. Check it out below and know why Oksyde is the “Chief who Kills”.

Tippy Toe G Mix

The hit song Tippy Toe by Femi One and Kristoff had to get an extra lease of life hip-hop style, and I love the vile energy from Oksyde. Keeping it short and funky he employs some street slang that you need more than one listen to comprehend.

Mat Za Kasaa G Mix

Mat za Ronga was the hottest hip-hop jam closing out 2017.  It had an official remix by Khaligraph and the originator Tunji. Oksyde has decided to flip it and made a record about Matatus from Kasarani and it is banging. It is not yet out but I have heard the jam and it’s scorching.
