Finally, the 658weeks of January are eventually over (here’s where we collectively breathe a sigh of relief.) Has your salo checked in yet? Great! Then you’re ready for these amazing events happening this week!
The Unknown Order
Happening on the 3rd February, the Goethe Institute in Nairobi presents a different kind of show, featuring Noel Nderitu, Fadhilee and Tetu Shani. No headliners. No opening act. And as the name suggests, no one knows who takes the stage first. Ten minutes before the first performer takes the stage, the emcee is to literally pick one of the names out of a hat, and from there you have your first performer. The same applies to the second and the third performer. All the performers have had great achievements this past year. Therefore, The Unknown Order is a celebration of music that prioritizes creativity, collectivism and resilience above all.
All of June
June Gachui, the powerhouse of humour, talent and grace is back on stage! Following the release of her debut album “Twenty Years” last August, June will be back on stage at the Kenya National Theatre performing her “nyummy music” tonight, the 2nd February and tomorrow 3rd February. Judging from the sneak peak concert that took place just last night, this is one you don’t want to miss!
Sharing her stage will be three amazing gentlemen Bill Sellanga, Nasara The Poet and Innocent “Noiz” Orunga.
