Harambe Stars Striker Joins Saudi League

Kenyan international striker Masoud Juma has officially completed a transfer to Saudi Arabian Division One League side Al Jabalain from Morocco’s Difaa El Jadidi on a permanent basis.

The club confirmed the arrival of the Harambe Stars striker through a video posted on their social media platforms with the caption, “Welcome Masud Juma”.

Juma completed the move from Moroccan side Difaa El Jadidi, although he had been sent on loan to Al Faisaly FC, a club for which he scored eight goals in 13 matches.

He made his start at Kariobangi Sharks during the 2017/2018 season where he finished the Kenyan Premier League top scorer with 23 goals.

His performances that season earned him a move to Benni McArthy’s Cape Town City in South Africa.

He also had brief stints at UAE side Dibba Al Furajiah and Libya’s Al Nasr, before joining Algerian side JS Kabylie.

Juma made his senior Harambee Stars debut in 2017 during an African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone.

During his time in Kenya he played for Bandari, Sony Sugar, and Kariobangi Sharks in the Premier League, and this is after he had featured for Shabana in the National Super League.

The Saudi Pro League has gained a lot attention following the signing of international sports star Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Al-Nassr FC.

Since Roanldo’s move several football stars such as Ng’olo Kante, Karim Benzema, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, Riyad Mahrez, and Sadio Mane have also joined.
