Grant Blended Scotch Whisky recently launched its bold, new and glistening bottle of the Grant’s Triplewood 12; at an invite-only event that took place at the Nairobi Street Kitchen in Westlands. Packaged in a matte black bottle accented with rich gold hues that represent Grant’s spoils of gold medals, Grant Triplewood 12 is an ideal gift and perfect drink of choice for special occasions.

The Triplewood 12 launch which was hosted by media personality Kwambox, was graced by various Kenyan celebrities and influencers. The attendees of this glitzy affair were served a wide range of flavourful cocktails, delicious snacks, and fun interactive games.

On stage, was super talented DJ Donnaccio and DJ PURP, who were later joined by popular band, H_Art The Band. The trio wowed the crowd with some of their classics such as My Jaber, Lovephobic, Uliza Kiatu, El Shaddai, and their own rendition of the popular track by Jamnazi Band, Riziki.

Founded by William Grant in 1887, Grant Scotch Whisky is the world’s third most popular blended scotch brand. Its Triplewood whiskies are unique as it takes 3 barrels to make, unlike most whiskies which only require two, hence the slogan ‘Two barrels make it good, the third makes it Grant’s.’

According to the brand ambassador Kariuki Mukii, Nairobi is among the first 3 cities in Africa and 12 in the world to unveil the Triplewood 12.
