Songstress Mercy Masika has landed a clean deal with the manufacturers of detergent brand Ariel, P&G . The giving back campaign dubbed “Ultimate Guarantee” is all about rewarding domestic mangers who make the lives of many Kenyans easier by doing what needs to be done to keep our homes clean and organized.
Speaking on why the campaign is close to her heart, Masika states, “We are known to reward people for the efforts they put in improving society but we don’t often recognize the amazing work done by our domestic managers. As part of the Ariel family, we hope to touch the lives of these underappreciated women by offering them various tokens of appreciation.”
The hitmaker will also use her skills to come up with a new jingle for the brand’s new advert.
More and more brands are using local celebrities in endorsements and collaborations.
Look out for highlights from the launch of this campaign on our IG stories as it is set to launch tomorrow. The event will be graced by other Kenyan media personalities such as Jalang’o, Amina, Wilbroda and Teacher Wanjiku.
