The JW Fashion Show held its 2018 edition this past Saturday the 10th of November at the TRM. The annual event mainly known for promoting Kenyan designed apparel did not disappoint with big names such as Dennis Itumbi, Kate the actress and Betty Kyalo gracing the event. The main entity that is known for the hashtag made in Kenya by Kenyans had a totally sold out event with a full house to appreciate Kenyan Fashion.
JW which aims at homegrown initiatives that provide a gainful income to thousands of Kenyans had the following designers grace the event:
Samba Fashion House
M Kay Collection
The designers who were competing for a price of getting sponsorship endorsement, international exposure to attend fashion events internationally for both networking and working with wider brands saw M Kay collection grab the opportunity by bagging the title best designer of the night.
The event that strictly targets a Kenyan fashion feel, hopes to keep providing a platform for upcoming and renowned designers to grow their brand. Kenya is a wide market of style and JW is on a role to make this an appreciated contemporary culture.
