Rap Icon Gidi Gidi and Maji Maji are making a comeback in the music industry after a 16-year hiatus.

The two artists who are behind such hits as Unbwogable and Ting Badi Malo released in the early 2000s, are set to reunite during the Safaricom Twaweza Live concert at the Kisumu Show Ground on Saturday, August 25.

“Unbwogable final rehearsals, Kisumu are you ready? This Saturday at the Showground. GidiGidi and MajiMaji at the Safaricom Twaweza Live,” Gidi captioned a video on social media giving fans an inside look of how their set will sound.

“After final rehearsals. We are now sure! Radar is clear. Gidigidi and Majimaji. Follow for video snippets of what to expect,” said MajiMaji.

Gidi Gidi works as a radio host on Radio Jambo where he co-hosts Patanisho with former Harambee Stars coach Jacob Mulee while Maji Maji is the CEO of Ghetto Radio.

Maji Maji is also expected to release a new song on September 1 that features a former street kid called Kobole.

Unbwogable was their biggest hit and opened many doors for them including being signed by International record label Gallo Records, a countrywide tour performing it for the then opposition government during its campaigns.
