One of the most outstanding picnic shows in the 254 keeps surprising music lovers over and over. The 28th edition of the Koroga Festival will be going down at the Bomas Of Kenya grounds on 30th November this year.
The two-day festival which celebrates African music, food, art and fashion has a treat for Rhumba and Benga lovers this time rounds.
The first day of the Festival will see Gengetone stars Boondocks Gang and Rico Gang light up the place. Nviiri The Story Teller is on the bill as well on day one.
Day two will see Congolese soukous musician Kanda Bongo Man Kwassa Kwassa on the stage for his fans. He will be sharing the stage with Queen of Congolese and African Rumba, M’bilia Bel. Kenyan Ohangla fusion star Emma Jalamo is also on the bill alongside Steve Kay.
This gig brings sweet reminiscent memories of National radio KBC playing the best of Rhumba. You might tag your parents along for this one.
