Gengetone Star Fathermoh Bags New Brand Ambassadorial Deal

Moses Otieno popularly known as Fathermoh is the newest brand ambassador in town. The Gengetone star joined the popular spirits brand Chrome, family in their ongoing Street Filosofia campaign. The collaboration was officially announced during the Thika Town edition of “Sherehe Mtaani,” an electrifying event filled with non-stop entertainment. The lineup had some of Kenya’s hottest music acts, such as Ndovu Kuu, Ssaru, Breeder LW, and Nviiri.

Fathermoh, known for hit tracks such as “Marafiki” and “Kaskie Vibaya,” joins a prestigious group of A-list artists already collaborating with Chrome, including Bensoul and Nviiri the Storyteller. The “Dai Dai” star expressed his excitement about this partnership and the brand’s commitment to supporting Kenyan musicians and culture. He said, “I’m excited for this collaboration with a brand that values artistry and giving support to Kenyan musicians and the culture that drives our art’s subject matter.”

Additionally, Lilian Mbugua, the Chrome Trademark Brand Manager, expressed her enthusiasm for this partnership. She highlighted how Fathermoh adds to the brand’s growing roster of Kenyan artists and personalities who share the Filosofia spirit. “Chrome’s partnership with Fathermoh is set to bring a new level of excitement to the Chrome brand universe. It is also a statement of our commitment to staying ahead of the curve and embracing emerging trends in Kenyan culture.” She stated.

Fathermoh has received a lot of success both as a solo artist and as a Mbuzi Gang Gengetone trio member. His catchy chorus on the Mbuzi Gang hit “Shamra Shamra” thrust him into the spotlight. Since then, his career has been on a rising trajectory. In August this year, Fathermoh’s hit with fellow rapper Ssaru, “Kaskie Vibaya” won the tightly contested EAEA People’s Choice Best Kenyan Sound Award.

Known as the hook master, Fathermoh is a highly sought-after collaborator in the music scene. His most recent collaboration with Harry Craze and Odi Wa Murang’a is already a certified hit. It has a total of over 150K streams across major digital streaming sites.
