Schools have closed and the kids will be home for a good two months. Apart from cartoons, movies and video games, most parents have no clue on how to keep their kids busy over the holiday. There are plenty of places to visit and activities to do for the youngins. Here are a few that you as a parent could also take part in.
Westgate Funscapes- Westgate has a designated area where kids can play from morning till evening for only a thousand shillings. You get a card which you load with a thousand bob and the kids can spend the whole day jumping around with other kids. A great way of making friends.
Panari Ice Rank- Panari is the only place in Kenya that offers indoor ice skating, it can accommodate up to 200 skaters at any time and is open every day from 11.00 AM to 10.00 PM.
Village Market- Village market has an entire floor dedicated for kids’ activities, trampolines, slides and more like the play zone in Westgate. The only downside here is that they charge parents an extra fee just to sit and watch as their kids play.
Lunar Park- Remember back when our parents could only wait for September for them to take us to the show festival for us to ride on the merry go round, swings, electric trains and ride of horses? Well, you can find all these at the Nairobi Lunar Park, an amusement park fit for both adults and kids located at the Railways Park.
Gp Karting- The GP Karting center along Langata road is a perfect place for both adults and kids. Ride on the carts and later go ziplining or paintballing.
