Former NTV News anchor Daniel Mule’s rise from sweeping floors at the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) to a high-ranking position in Machakos County government is nothing short of inspiring.
On Wednesday, April 19, Mule was nominated for the position of Chief Officer, Public Communications and e-government in the county, a position he hopes to use to improve service delivery.
Mule, who previously worked at NTV for a decade, was among eight names forwarded for vetting and approval by the County Assembly. Speaking to a local media house, he expressed his excitement at the prospect of improving service delivery through communication, utilizing his extensive expertise and experience in the media.
“I thank God for the opportunity to work at this station. I got this dream of working as an anchor while doing menial jobs at NCPB in Nakuru.
“The same God who gave me that dream, made it come to fruition hence I say to where there’s a will, there’s a way,” he stated while announcing his departure at Nation.
Mule’s journey to the top of his profession is a testament to the power of determination and hard work.
If approved for the position, he’ll use his vast experience in the media industry to head the Communications department and make a positive impact on the county’s communication strategy.
